UKIP NEC Sackings - deja vu all over again

Sooner or later the penny must drop with the UKIP rank and file that they are simply being exploited by the cabal and the damage Farage is doing to UKIP now exceeds the benefits he brings. How many elected members of UKIP NEC have been ousted recently by the cabal, CEO Crowther? Denny, Pain and most lately David Gale.

Denny was a supporter of Farage right or wrong and helped him oust Del, David Abbott and me fom our elected positions on the UKIP NEC over 4 years ago. This was of course before the days of Crowther when Whittaker and Nuttall were Farage's chosen party chairman. Did this save Denny when he lost favour with Farage? Of course not! Denny's favourite description then of those who did not blindly worship Farage was 'malcontents'. This is an army that wiil keep on growing as long as Farage is allowed to run UKIP. Losses from the NEC mirror the losses of UKIP MEPs. The common factor is Nigel Farage! Too late for the kippers to wake up. They have been well and truly stitched up.

David Gale, whom I do not know, sums it up excellently in a resignation letter to Farage  I urge you all to read it by clicking on the link below:

http://davidgaleuk.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/20131128-nigel-farage-redacted3.pdf

I quote from his letter

"There is a lack of transparency over matters relating to the party’s National Executive
Committee (NEC). Party rules are routinely flouted by the leadership. When held to account,
party chairman Steve Crowther almost gleefully points at a revised party constitution that
allows the NEC to retrospectively approve breaches of the rules by the leadership."

Quite. Farage aided by his NEC placemen can do what he likes, eject elected members and ignore party democratic decisions. Yet he is allowed by the mainstream media to make the unchallenged claim that UKIP is the most democratic party in the UK! It is a huge propaganda lie worthy of Dr Goebbels.

Chris Pain, another great and electorally successful UKIP activist has also been ejected. I reproduce below his letter,

Stephen Crowther,
Chairman UK Indpendence
Eastacombe House
Heanton
Barnstaple
North Devon
EX31 4DG
3rd September, 2013
For the attention of Steve Crowther

I feel my position on the NEC has become untenable, and confirm that I resign forthwith from the NEC until such time as the necessary changes have been made to re-establish my confidence in the party’s structure and organization.

I have no intentions of standing for re selection as a voting member  on behalf of Lincolnshire on the EMCC, which in effect means, I will not be standing for chairman either.  I have decided to concentrate all my efforts in pushing UKIP forward in Lincolnshire.

Following my conversation with Will Gilpin, I have grave concerns re the involvement that you have had in various actions that have affected me both in UKIP and my personal life. I feel strongly that  these issues need to be investigated fully by the NEC, as your actions amount to harassment against me personally.

A separate issue concerns your involvement in pushing through the national selection process of MEP’s against the will of the membership and the Regional Chairmen. It has become evident that after reading transcripts between yourself and Doug Denny, that there are serious failings which could easily lead to discontentment
amongst our members re the entire process. The conversation, previously outlined, possesses a serious issue about your integrity re the handling of the whole MEP process.  When I raised this issue with Matthew Richardson and Jonathan Arnott, Matthew informed me that there was no form of redress to the party, the process or the NEC and that the only way to challenge this would be through the high court.

I have been brought up to believe in fairness, democracy and justice and, therefore, there is no way I can remain a member on the NEC, as this would be rubber stamping your actions.

Please can you forward this onto to the rest of the NEC.

Yours sincerely,
Cllr Chris Pain

UKIP has dropped any pretence of democracy and is being steadily given over to Tory rejects like the Hamiltons and Helmer. That is a sure fire guarantee of electoral failure.

How did UKIP end up in this dead end. Well Edmund Burke summed it up thus 200 years ago:

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

He went further:

When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle.

That is what has happened to those in UKIP who could not be bought by MEP money and stood up for UKIP's principles. We did fail to associate but with NEC meeting agenda and dates being controlled by Farage nominees along with the party conference speakers and agenda we were bound to lose.

Unlike Messrs Pain, Dale and Denny,  Del, David and I did not resign from the NEC we forced the cabal to sack us , in Del's case from the party by Nuttall. Resigning makes it easy for the bad guys to win.

The pivotal moment came in the run up to the 2009 Europeans when Greg Beaman who had been  voted into the number one spot on North West list was pressured to stand down in favour of Nuttall. This secured Farage's position in UKIP. One more Farage independent MEP might have made a huge differnce. Who would Farage have chosen as deputy leader? Gerard Batten springs to mind.

I fear for our country.  If you go into politics remember the dictum, all political careers end in failure. Let us hope Farage is not exempt.

Scottish Independence is a political decision

The muddying of the waters about a political decision by psedudo economic arguments has happened before. In 1972/73 when Common Market entry was portrayed as an economic decision. We all know how that has ended for our country! Confusing political and economic decisions always ends in tears for the populace.

This is exactly what will happen if we ever get to an EU in out referendum. Think on that you unionists! The BBC are currently exclusively promoting the No to leaving the UK campaign. If and when it comes to the EU in/out vote the BBC will be exclusively promoting the 'in' vote. Think on that UKIPers!

Scotland got into this ill starred union following the failure of the Darien scheme in the late 1690s led to the Act of Union being passed in 1707 for economic reasons. Again a poor political decsion made for economic reasons.

The establishment knew in 1971 it could not sell UK Common Market entry politically so it resorted to a fear, uncertainty and doubt economic campaign backed by big business for its sordid profits.

It is the same today plus of course Alastair Darling campaigning for a stay in vote to preserve Labours 50 MPs in Westminster without which there could never be a UK Labour government.

As a Scot its a simple question, who do I want to run Scotland? Politicians born, educated  and living Scotland or the metropolitan  London elite who rarely venture North of Watford. Its a no-brainer.

Farage prepares to sell out UKIP

Read this weekend piece by Ian Dale

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/iainmartin1/100247119/will-nigel-farage-ukip-firebrand-end-up-a-respectable-establishment-stooge-like-the-rest/

Del Young and I have known for the last 4 years this was the way Farage would go eventually. Del with his great political intution recognised it and I with my civil service background I sussed Farage within 5 minutes of meeting him. Other members of the NEC may have seen this but kept stum because they wanted to be on the MEP gravy train and others were just plain gullible. Del and I knew what Farage was and would say so  hence we both had to go. The truth about Farage has now reached even the Tory bloggers who are not known for their political acumen.

As Dale notes Farage will sell out UKIP to the Cameron Tory establishment. The deal will be a personal one with Farage with a Lords seat for Lord Brussels. UKIP will have served its purpose for Farage and will be ditched. This gets Farage out of his no UKIP Con pact condition while Cameron is leader. Do I feel sorry for UKIP rank and file? Well I have spoken out about this as has Del, David Abbott and others. UKIP faithful have been well and truely conned. They shose not to listen to decent honest men. Never give suckers an even break is the dictum.

A few of Nigel's cabal will have generous MEP pensions to look forward too as Nigel will but many won't. All UKIP rank and file will have to show for their faithful support of Farage are blisters on their feet and a black hole in their bank account. As for leaving the EU? The faithful will have to find a new messiah but the result will be the same..

Attorney General says corruption is rife in the Pakistani community

Dominic Gieve is saying the plain unvarnished truth that has been obvious for many years. It is not just pathogenic disease that immigrants bring to the UK but cultural disease.  Under the great mantra of multi-culturism they think they can bring in and live by the rules of sharia  law and the souk. This is more dangerous than multi drug resistant TB. A country can only live by one law and one moral code.

Gieve is to be applauded for his courage. The BBC have rapidly wheeled out the usual Pakistanis and bleeding hearts to attack Gieve for telling the truth. Their argument is that there is corruption in all areas of British life. This is true but what Gieve said is that it is endemic in Pakistani communities. Corruption has nevre been endemic in other communities or areas of British life.

What worries me is that our electoral system has been corrupted by Labour giving postal votes to anyone who asks for one. This was done to harvest the Muslim votes for Labour. Postal votes can be collected by eads of families who fill them in as they wish. Given Pakistanis live in clear enclaves MPs in thes areas are being elected by the wishes of a hundred or so people not the wishes of thousands of individual voters. The pathetic electoral commisiion is trying to repair the damage but all it has to do is go back to the old system. Scrap postal and proxy votes except for medical reasons and soldiers etc serving abroad.

Churchill said democracy is a man in a polling booth with a pencil and ballot paper. I don't want to see this replaced by mullahs in mosques with sheafs of postal and proxy votes.

This has nothing to do with race. Its a cultural issue.

Farage has a back problem

Returning from one of my frequent holidays cruising around the Eastern Med and then through Suez to Aqaba I was surprised to read of Mr Farage's hospitalisation for a back operation. He has my sympathy and I wish him a full recovery. Back surgery can be tricky and can take a long time to recover from - ask Andy Murray!

This should act as awake up call for EUKIP which has for many years been a Farage cult, What happens when the cult leader is out of action? If I were thinking of making a large donation to UKIP like Mr Sykes I would want to know what the plan is if Farage is hors de combat before I signed any cheques. I opine there is no such plan. Why? Such a suggestion would have lead to immediate deselection from the potentially lucrtative MEP slate something no Faragista could contemplate.

Many politicians have suffered back problems. Jack Kennedy for one. He treated his condition by sex four times daily. Perhaps similar treatment will be prescribed for Mr F. I recollect the 14th Eatl of Home also had a back problem at the out break of WWII.

Robust good health is a pre-requisite for any political leader. Many have been forced out by health problems, McMillan, Eden, Wilson to name but a few. Ukip's problem is that like Stalin Farage has purged the party of all potential good leadership candidates. What is left just won't cut the mustard. Its a serious unexpected problem and potentially fatal problem for EUKIP.
